Daybreak connects you with local, self-employed providers for practical help at home. You choose who helps, when, and for how long.
Help at home, not medical care. Providers on Daybreak offer practical and social support. They do not provide medical care, nursing or regulated personal care such as washing, dressing or toileting, and they do not give medication. Daybreak is not a care agency. If you need personal or medical care, speak to your GP or local Health and Social Care Trust.
Homecare
Practical help and company for adults who want to stay independent at home.
- Companionship A friendly visit, a chat, a walk or help getting out and about.
- Meal preparation Help planning, cooking and tidying up after meals.
- Shopping and errands Food shopping, collecting prescriptions, post office and other errands.
- Check-in visits A regular visit to see that everything is all right at home.
- Medication reminders A reminder to take medication at the right time. Providers do not give or handle medication.
